The maker

Dirty Bird Ceramics is the brainchild of Hudson Valley artist Melissa Kreck, a handbuilder, designer, cook, florist, and leatherworker who has been called a Gen X Martha Stewart. Cast from vintage molds and finished by hand, each piece gives classic Christmas ceramics a second life, with a cheeky, modern attitude.
